1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Trickie® PowerScarf . This heated scarf combines comfort, design, and smart technology to keep you warm on cold days, whether you're walking, cycling, traveling, or just relaxing at home. Even in the office, where the heating is sometimes set a little too low, the PowerScarf offers extra comfort and relaxation.

Designed for personal use , the PowerScarf offers three adjustable heat settings via an easy-to-use button. Thanks to its lightweight, soft material and integrated battery, it's comfortable and practical for daily use.

Please read this manual carefully before using the product for the first time. This will help you get the most out of your PowerScarf and use it safely and correctly.

The Trickie® PowerScarf is intended for comfort , not as a medical device.

2. Commissioning

Before using the PowerScarf™ for the first time, follow the steps below to ensure the product functions safely and optimally.

🔋 First use & charging

  1. Check that all parts are present:
    – the Trickie® PowerScarf™
    – the integrated control module
    – the included USB-C cable
    – the USB adapter (max. 5 V / 2 A)
  2. Connect the USB-C cable to the port below the control button and connect it to the adapter or to a suitable power bank.
  3. While charging, the LED lights will flash; once all four LEDs are solid, the battery is fully charged.
  4. An initial full charge before use is recommended.

💡 Operation check

  • Press and hold the control button for two seconds to turn on the PowerScarf.
  • The LED light indicates that the scarf is active.
  • Switch between heat settings with a short press of a button.
  • Within minutes you will feel warmth around the neck, the PowerScarf heats on both sides for even heat distribution.
  • Please note: it may take up to 2 to 3 minutes for the scarf to reach the set temperature.

⚙️ For the best results

  • Make sure the heating element is properly positioned around your neck . The element is centered in the scarf , so both ends are the same length. If the scarf is wrapped too tightly or crookedly, the heating element won't rest properly on your neck, and you'll experience less warmth. Wrap the PowerScarf loosely and, if necessary, tie a single knot to keep it in place.
  • The PowerScarf is made of a lightly brushed fabric with a natural look. To keep the fabric looking its best, it's best not to wash it unnecessarily . Regular airing is usually sufficient.
  • Keep the USB-C connector facing down during use, especially outdoors. This helps protect the port from moisture.
  • Fully charge the scarf before storing it for extended periods.

3. Safety instructions

Read these safety instructions carefully before using the PowerScarf™. Incorrect use may result in damage or discomfort.

⚠️ General use

  • The PowerScarf is intended for adults only .
  • Do not use while sleeping.
  • Do not use the product if you have medical conditions that affect blood circulation or heat sensitivity (such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease or serious skin problems) unless on explicit medical advice .
  • If you are pregnant or have limited mobility, consult a doctor before using the PowerScarf.
  • The PowerScarf is designed for personal comfort and well-being , not as a medical device.

🔥 Heat and operating time

  • Prolonged use, especially at the highest setting, may cause heat discomfort (e.g., headache, dizziness, or overheating). Stop use immediately if you experience any discomfort or discomfort.
  • The scarf switches off automatically after 120 minutes in the same position (safety function).
  • Take ambient temperature and clothing layer into account: comfort levels may vary from person to person.

💧 Water and moisture

  • The PowerScarf is splash-proof , suitable for light rain.
  • Keep the USB-C connector facing down to keep moisture out.
  • Do not immerse or expose to moisture for prolonged periods.
  • Do not use or store the scarf in extremely humid environments.

🔌 Charging and power

  • Only use the supplied USB-C cable and adapter (max. 5 V / 2 A).
  • Do not charge while sleeping or leave unattended while the device is charging.
  • Do not use damaged cables or adapters.
  • Always pull gently on the plug, not on the cord.

⚙️ Maintenance and safety

  • Always switch off before rolling up, storing or cleaning the scarf.
  • Avoid contact with open flames, radiators and other heat sources.
  • Stop use immediately if smoke, strange odor, or overheating occurs.
  • Do not use the scarf if the heating element, cable or button is visibly damaged .

Always use the PowerScarf with common sense and follow these guidelines to enjoy the warmth for a long time and safely.

4. On/off & heat settings

The Trickie® PowerScarf™ has three adjustable heat settings. Everything is easily controlled with a single button on the control module.

🔘 Switch on and off

  • Press and hold the button for two seconds to turn the PowerScarf on or off.
  • The LED light around the button will turn on once the scarf is active.
  • Press again for two seconds to turn it off.

🌡️ Heat settings

Switch between heat settings by briefly pressing the button . Each color represents a specific temperature and operating time (with the internal battery):

🟢 Green ±38 °C ±3 hours
🔵 Blue ±45 °C ±2 hours
🔴 Red ±50 °C ±1 hour

The PowerScarf reaches the set temperature within two to three minutes , depending on the ambient temperature.

Want to stay warm for longer on the go? No problem. Thanks to its clever design, you can easily connect the scarf via USB-C to a power bank that you can carry in your pocket. With the Trickie PowerBank (5,000 mAh), you can extend the battery life to approximately 9 hours , and even longer with larger power banks.

⏱️ Automatic shut-off

  • The scarf switches off automatically after 120 minutes on the same setting.
  • This is a built-in safety feature to prevent overheating and unnecessary battery consumption.
  • After switching off, you can immediately switch the scarf back on if you want to resume the heat.

5. Charging

The Trickie® PowerScarf™ comes with a USB-C cable and USB adapter (max. 5 V/2 A). Use only this or an equivalent adapter for safe and efficient charging.

🔌 Charging the internal battery

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the port below the control button.
    - The connection is slightly recessed in the fabric , so that the button is better protected against moisture and remains subtly integrated into the design.
    - Push the fabric down slightly before inserting the cable; the plug should click in firmly but smoothly.
  2. Connect the cable to the supplied adapter or to a suitable power bank (max. 5 V / 2 A).
  3. While charging , the LED lights will flash . Once all four LEDs are solid, the battery is fully charged.
  4. Fully charging an empty battery takes on average 2 – 3 hours .
  5. Disconnect the cable once charging is complete.

🔋 Battery indicator

  • 4 LEDs = fully charged
  • 3 LEDs = approximately 75%
  • 2 LEDs = approximately 50%
  • 1 LED = almost empty

During use, you can briefly light up the LED indicator by pressing the button once.

⚠️Safety when charging

  • Do not charge while sleeping or when the PowerScarf is left unattended.
  • Do not use damaged cables or adapters.
  • Avoid contact of the USB port with moisture.
  • Always pull the plug , not the cord.

6. Trickie PowerBank (optional)

The Trickie PowerBank (5,000 mAh) is specially designed for use with the Trickie® PowerScarf™. Its compact size makes it easy to fit in your jacket or inside pocket, so you can also use the scarf comfortably on the go.

Connecting the Power Bank to a fully charged PowerScarf can extend the total runtime to approximately 9 hours , depending on the selected heat setting and conditions. Larger power banks may offer even longer runtimes.

⚡ Use

  • Connect the PowerBank via the USB-C cable at the bottom of the control button.
  • The PowerScarf automatically switches to external power once the PowerBank is connected.
  • During use, you can continue to operate the scarf with the button and heat settings.

⚠️ Safety

  • Only use Trickie PowerBanks or powerbanks with an output of max. 5 V / 2 A.
  • Keep the PowerBank dry and protected from rain or snow.
  • Fully charge the PowerBank before storing it for extended periods of time.
  • All safety instructions in this manual also apply to the PowerBank.

7. Washing & maintenance

With proper care, your Trickie® PowerScarf™ will remain beautiful and comfortable for a long time. Follow the instructions below to extend the life of both the fabric and the heating element.

🧺 Preparation – Removing electronics

Before washing the PowerScarf, the entire electronic system must be removed.

  1. Open the zipper on the side of the PowerScarf.
  2. Carefully pull the control button out of the opening in the fabric. The button is attached with Velcro and can be pulled off.
  3. Next, remove the heating element ( the flexible strip inside the neck area). This part is also attached with Velcro and can be easily detached.
  4. This way you remove the entire electronic system from the scarf.
  5. Then close the zipper before washing the scarf.

⚠️ Washing with the heating element or button still in the scarf may cause permanent damage.

🧼 Washing

  • Hand wash recommended.
  • Machine washing is possible at a maximum temperature of 30 °C , only in a washing bag .
  • Use a mild detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach .
  • Do not wring, squeeze or scrub hard.
  • Let the scarf air dry flat , out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.

🧩 Replace after washing

  1. Make sure the scarf is completely dry before replacing the heating element.
  2. Unzip the zipper and reattach the heating element with the Velcro. Note: Always press the Velcro all the way together to ensure the heating element is securely fastened and cannot shift during use.
  3. Then place the control button back into the recess and press the Velcro firmly.
  4. Close the zipper.
  5. Check that the cable is neatly in place and is not twisted or pinched.

🌿 Maintenance & Care

The PowerScarf is made of a lightly brushed cotton fabric with a natural, soft feel. To keep the fabric looking its best, it's best not to wash it too often; regular airing is often enough to keep it fresh. If you do want to wash it, carefully follow the instructions above. If you have sensitive skin, it may be helpful to wash the scarf once before first use.

⚠️ Important

  • Do not reconnect the heating element until the scarf is completely dry.
  • Avoid dry cleaning.
  • Ironing is not necessary and is not recommended.

9 – Warranty & Service

The Trickie® PowerScarf™ has been carefully designed and manufactured. Should anything unexpectedly malfunction, you can count on our support and warranty according to the terms and conditions below.

🛡️ Warranty period

The PowerScarf comes with a 12-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects , starting from the date of purchase. This warranty is in addition to statutory consumer rights within the EU.

The internal battery has a 6-month warranty against technical defects. A remaining capacity of at least 75% within 6 months is considered normal with regular use. Any loss of capacity after this period is considered normal wear and tear.

⚙️ What is covered by the warranty?

  • Manufacturing or material defects in the fabric, seams or stitching
  • Defects in the heating element , the on/off button or the internal wiring caused by a manufacturing error
  • Technical defects of the internal battery within the warranty period

🚫 What is not covered by the warranty

  • Normal wear and tear or aging (linting, discoloration, slight fabric distortion)
  • Damage due to improper use , such as washing with the heating element inside, exposure to moisture, or use of unapproved chargers or power banks
  • Fall, impact or pulling damage
  • Products that have been modified, opened or repaired by third parties
  • Damage caused by commercial use or use in conditions for which the product is not intended

  • Please keep your proof of purchase as proof of warranty.
  • Warranty applies only to products purchased through Trickie® or an authorized sales partner.
  • The warranty is not transferable and will be voided in case of improper use.
