Delivery time
 Trickie is a Dutch company. If your PowerScarf is in stock, it will often be shipped the same day with PostNL.

You'll generally receive your Trickie within 24 hours, and at the latest within 48 hours. However, this is dependent on PostNL's delivery schedule. If you order after 4 PM on Friday or during the weekend, you may receive your Trickie a little later.

Postage costs
We offer free shipping within the Netherlands. For shipments outside the Netherlands, but within the EU, the shipping cost is €4.95.

The Trickie PowerScarf is a heated scarf that looks like a regular, stylish winter scarf. The soft neck area features a flat infrared heating element that you can operate with a single button. This button also houses the built-in, lightweight battery —you won't see it and you'll barely feel it. With three heat settings, you can choose exactly how much extra warmth you need while walking, cycling, or playing on the sports field.

  • How does the PowerScarf work?

    You can easily charge the scarf via a USB-C port at the bottom of the control button , without removing the battery. The four LED lights show you the remaining battery charge at a glance. The heating element and control button are attached to the scarf with Velcro in this clever design, making them completely removable . This allows you to safely wash the scarf. Thanks to the auto-off function (after 120 minutes), you can use it safely and worry-free. Perfect for those truly cold moments, on your bike, during a winter walk, or at the sports field. But also ideal for those cool spring and summer evenings when you want that little bit of extra warmth and comfort.

How do I charge the PowerScarf?

The PowerScarf's charging port is located below the control button. The USB-C port allows you to charge the internal battery without removing it. Use the included 5V USB adapter or a power bank (such as the Trickie PowerBank). LED indicators show when charging is in progress or complete.

How long does PowerScarf stay warm?

The PowerScarf has a lightweight built-in battery (only 45 grams). This is a conscious choice, so you don't have to wear a heavy battery pack around your neck. Depending on the heat setting, you can expect approximately:

  • ±1 hour on the highest setting
  • ±2 hours on the middle setting
  • ±3 hours on the lowest setting

Want to stay warm for longer? No problem. Thanks to its clever design, you can easily connect the scarf via USB-C to a power bank that you can carry in your pocket. With the Trickie PowerBank (5,000 mAh), you can extend the battery life to approximately 9 hours , and even longer with larger power banks.

Can you wash the PowerScarf?

Yes. The PowerScarf is washable, as long as you remove the heating element before washing. The design is intentionally designed with a fully removable module, so no wiring or electronics end up in the washing machine.

Place the scarf in a laundry bag and wash at a maximum of 30°C on a delicate cycle. Let it dry flat, do not tumble dry, and do not wring out.

Can I wear it while charging?

Yes, you can wear the PowerScarf while it's charging via AC power or a power bank. Make sure the cord can move freely and doesn't get pinched.

The PowerScarf automatically shuts off after 120 minutes on the same setting. This is a safety feature. You can easily turn it back on again if you want.

Never wear the PowerScarf while sleeping or when unattended while charging.

Is the PowerScarf safe?

Yes. The PowerScarf is designed for daily use and uses even infrared heat. It automatically switches off after 120 minutes on the same setting, a built-in overheat protection feature.

The fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified (skin-friendly and free from harmful substances) and the product complies with European CE safety standards.

As with any heating product, we recommend not wearing it while sleeping and always feel the warmth to ensure it is comfortable.

Is the PowerScarf suitable for rain or snow?

Yes, the PowerScarf is safe to wear in light rain or snow. The fabric is splash-resistant, and the technology is protected as long as the charging port is facing downward or remains under your jacket.

However, avoid heavy rain or immersion in water; it is an electronic product. Always let the scarf dry thoroughly before using or charging it again.

Can I use my own PowerBank?

Yes, you can use your own power bank as long as it has a standard 5V USB output. Connect the power bank to the PowerScarf via USB-C and carry it in your inside pocket or jacket pocket.

For the best carrying experience, we recommend a compact power bank, such as the Trickie PowerBank (5,000 mAh), which allows you to extend the heat for up to approximately 9 hours.

The PowerScarf was developed entirely in-house, from the fabric selection and fit to its characteristic shape. We had a clear goal in mind during development: a heated scarf that you'd want to wear even without the heating function.

A look from inside

The PowerScarf is designed so that you can remove the entire technical section at once. This allows you to wash the scarf safely, without any electronics, and you can easily order a separate cover later if desired. The interior is lined with a soft, natural fabric for maximum comfort and a beautiful, luxurious look.
